Our Indian hosts with opened arms looking forward to your visit, on a unique and exceptional itinerary specially created for you. In addition to our participation in Polio Routine Immunization, we will participate in special Rotary activities and events KEEP INDIA POLIO FREE DRIVE . During visit, all participants are going to experience all events and official programs, including Polio Rally Day door to door campaign activities and Rotary club and Rotary Foundation projects visits.

A) Polio Rally on Tuk Tuk, Tractors, Cycles and Bikes To raise awareness in pubic for polio vaccination to protect every child from this devastating disease, and KEEP INDIA POLIO FREE DRIVE in action, celebrate with parents, professionals and volunteers whose contributions make polio eradication achievable over years . Indian borders are crossed by refuges and carrier of polio virus we have to keep immunization mission going on. Participate house to house distributing fliers in slum areas defined by Local medical authorities joining your own precession on the road with beating drums, music, dancing accompanying with Local public, school teachers, students, Rotarians, medical staff. 

B) Polio Immunization at slums The virus spreads from person to person and can infect a person's spinal cord, causing paralysis (can't move parts of the body). There is no cure for polio, but it can be prevented with safe and effective vaccination. Join the Polio drive with giving 2 drops of Polio vaccine at D-type booths run by government Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife under health department of Agra along with Local Club Rotarians and volunteers.

This is the 43rd polio eradication program, we have organized 10th such trip in Agra, India. This program is designed to be a mix of Polio Rally ( door to door campaign ), Polio eradication, learning on Rotary Projects, culture, food and Real India with touring around. In past Rotarians who have taken this trip asked us to include sightseeing to Taj Mahal, Tigers Safaris, Elephant ride and other popular destinations on this trip. Therefore, we include visits to UNESCO sites, 1st Wonder of the World “ Taj Mahal”  , Ranthambore and Jaipur, to enhance your overall experience while in North India. This travel program includes almost all of your essential travel needs so you will have limited need to pay for additional services after your arrival in India, other than for personal items.
