Day 1: Arrive – Negombo
On arrival at the Negombo airport you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL.
Day 2: Negombo
After breakfast, you will be taken on a city tour of Negombo. The main highlights of the tour are the Negombo fish market &harbour, Dutch church & port, Angurukaramulla Temple, St Mary’s Church, and the Hindu Temple. In the evening take a boat ride along the Dutch canal. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 3: Negombo – Pinnawala – Kandalama
After breakfast, you will proceed to Kandalama, via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Assisted by local and foreign elephant experts, Pinnawala commenced a successful captive breeding program and the first baby elephant was born in 1984. The evening will be at leisure. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 4: Kandalama – Hiriwaduna – Dambulla – Kandalama
Early this morning, you will depart on a trek towards Hiriwaduna with a packed breakfast. The forests are home to many birds, butterflies and other wildlife including monkeys, bears and elephants. Along the way you will get to see the villagers go about their early morning tasks of fishing or washing clothes. In the evening, you will be able to experience an elephant ride. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 5: Kandalama – Matale – Kandy
After breakfast, proceed to Kandy, via Matale. You will visit a spice garden to see the different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous for. Afterwards, continue to Kandy. After check-in at your hotel you will be taken on a tour around the city. See Lake Kandy built by the last Sinhala king, Kandy town, the bazaar, an arts & crafts centre and a gem museum. Afterwards, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic where you will also watch a cultural show. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 6: Kandy – Galle
Today, you will be transferred from Kandy to Galle. Here you will set your taste buds on fire by taking a culinary cooking and walking tour. You will learn the secrets of Fort food and then go around sampling the best of Sri Lankan street food. The cooking course teaches you how to make some traditional Sri Lankan favourites, including pol (coconut) sambol and fish curry, all of which you will get to sample throughout the lesson. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 7: Galle – Balapitiya – Wadduwa

Day 8: Wadduwa
After breakfast, the day will be spent at leisure. Overnight at your HOTEL.
Day 9: Wadduwa – Colombo
This morning you will head to Colombo, where you will take a walking tour of the city. The walks are conducted in the evening giving you the opportunity to experience the wind-down time of island culture. (B)
Day 10: Colombo – Depart
After breakfast your tour will end.
